AN IMPORTANT AND VERY RARE ROSE FAMILY VASE WITH A YELLOW BOTTOM MARKED IN SIX CHARACTERS IN JIAQING IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820) The vase is beautifully decorated with four large lotus flowers in full bloom, evenly spaced around the bottom of the body, below the flared neck decorated with bats in iron red and blue, all against a dense background of additional floral motifs, resting on a slender tapering foot. Height: 25 cm.
Condition: very good, without flaws or repairs (checked under UV light), with the usual light surface wear associated with its age.
Provenance: Swiss collection built up between 1950 and 1970.
