A beautiful and rare Rolex Datejust Bark, Buckley blue dial The Rolex reference 16078 is a rare variant of the Datejust line with an 18-carat yellow gold case featuring a "bark" finish on the bezel and the central links of the bracelet. This unique and rare blue Buckley dial has created an attractive blue/purple patina, with the original tritium still on the lumeplots and hands! The case is solid, perhaps slightly polished. Inside the watch is the automatic calibre 3035 made by Rolex, the watch holds time well and has an amplitude of 300° and +3 seconds per day. The movement bears the serial number 0321508 and the case the serial number 6.1 million, indicating production in 1979. It has a sapphire crystal with cyclops, which is original to the reference. The watch has 18-carat gold hallmarks and measures 36 mm in diameter. The comfortable bracelet has little or no stretch, measuring 21 cm (full link). The watch does not come with its box and papers. The total weight of the watch is 133.3 grams. The accessories come with a Rolex wallet, which is correct for the period.
