Model 1867 capote of the 26th Line in bluish iron grey cloth, straight collar decorated with braced madder flaps (later replaced with old cloth), double buttonhole sleeve cuff, back fitted with a martingale and an opening slit at the bottom, brass buttons stamped with the number 26, linen lining stamped with the regiment and received (illegible), 3rd Republic period madder epaulettes.
