Capote model 1867 of the 87th of the line in bluish iron grey cloth, straight collar decorated with braced garance tabs (later replaced with old cloth), double buttonhole sleeve cuff, back fitted with a martingale and an opening slit at the bottom, brass buttons stamped with the number 87, linen lining stamped with the regiment and received in the 4th quarter of 1870, regimental number twice (regimental numbers and stamps reused later), 3rd Republic period garance epaulettes. Wear, a few small chips in the cloth, restorations. ABE
