Malagasy tirailleur paletot, model 1898, in dark blue fleece fastened at the front with 4 gold bell buttons, variant with straight collar emphasised by a flat daffodil braid decorated with rectangular tabs with letters "TM", worn from 1898 in cut madder cloth, inside pocket in unbleached cotton, matching breeches in blue fleece with daffodil piping. This outfit was reconstituted for the 1931 Colonial Exhibition. VERY GOOD CONDITION
