URARTIAN BRONZE FIGURINE OF A BULL. Ca. 800 - 600 BC A bronze freestanding figure of a bull with a compact muscular body, short sturdy legs with detailed hooves, and a thick tail falling straight down from the rump. The chest rises into a strong neck and forward-set head with a blunt muzzle, small rounded ears, and a pair of long horns sweeping outwards and up from the brow. Size: 220mm x 250mm; Weight: 2.88kg.
