URARTIAN CAULDRON WITH GAZELLE PROTOMES. Ca. 900 BC. A bronze cauldron with three gazelle-head protomes set on the shoulder. The deep globular body rises to a thick everted lip; each protome projects with short upturned horns and a pointed muzzle.
