Paris, by the Société des imprimeurs, s.d. - [4]. La Vraye Astrée, or fourth part. Ibid, 1638. - [5]. La Conclusion et dernière partie d'Astrée, by Sr Baro. Paris, François Pomeray, 1628. 5 volumes in-8, fawn calf, decorated spine, inner lace, red edges (18th century binding). The fourth and fifth parts were completed and brought to light after his death by his secretary Balthazar Baro. From the libraries of Louis Le Bouthillier, Marquis de Villesavin (1664-1743), with armorial bookplate, and Jean-Eugène d'Assier de Valenches (1828-1870), with autograph stamp and signature. Missing the last leaf of vol. I (Eee8). Covers and corners worn, wormholes and minor damage to bindings; foxing and spotting, small angular loss to a few leaves, small hole to 2nd f. of vol. III, wormholes in margins of vol. IV.
