SPOUSES" CINERARY URN Rectangular urn in sculpted white marble in low relief: on the two short sides are are bust portraits of the same couple couple at two different stages of life. Each bust is housed in the opening of a deeply carved of a deeply carved semicircular arch, resting on fluted pilasters with suspended suspended pendentives. The sloping lid is decorated with three finely sculpted registers, the flat top of which is hollowed out by a cavity that once housed a a sculpture that has now disappeared.
