Václav Tikal (1906 - 1965) Category I oil on canvas, dat. 1946, 81x100,5 cm, signed LD, frame, rubber stamp and origin artist´s label with title and signature on underside. Exhibited in Mánes, in Kunstmuseum in Lucern on exhibition of Czechoslovak Arts in 1947, then on exhibition of Group RA in 1988 in Hradec Králové, in its catalogue was also reproduced. Uniqe painting belongs to the best artist´s paintings of his favourite cycle Hold Einsteinovi and represented his constructive period ended in 1946. Work is from Prague´s collection. Were took directly in artist´s atelier by origin owner and to tthese days was founded in his family. Painting is noted in catalogue of Tikal´s painting works on page 71. Consulted and judged by prof.
