Desmules). An important reference work devoted to one of the greatest French bookbinders of the 20th century, bringing together more than 150 of his bindings produced between 1927 and 1944. Edition of 300 copies, this one of 250 on Arches vellum. Autograph signed letter from Paul Bonet "to Mr Kostia Vlasto, these fruits of my uncertainties, in respectful sympathy". A fine copy in an original masterly binding by René Desmules, dated 1960.
