FIRST EDITION of the History of Human Anatomy, one of the rarest medical works in Spanish. It is illustrated with a fine engraved title and 42 VERY BEAUTIFUL out-of-text FIGURES deliberately inspired by Vesalius, but executed on copper rather than wood, by Caspar Becerra or Pedro de Rubiales, both Spanish artists in Italy working for Giorgio Vasari.
