Second edition of this rare pocket liturgical calendar with 285 figures by Pieter van der Borcht (1545-1608), copper-engraved by an anonymous artist, probably Paul Uten Waele - including 55 Gospel scenes in the first part and 230 portraits of saints in the second. The first edition was published by Plantin in 1580.
Lined title leaf with slight tears, small scratch to first figure, discrete rings and marginal soiling.
