HISTORY:
This important set of decorative tiles, particularly rare in Ivanoff's output, was created following a residency by the artist at the Fabrique St Joris studio in Beesel (Netherlands) between 1962 and 1963. Designed to fit into both indoor and outdoor spaces, these tiles were intended to be incorporated into a masonry structure. This wall panel is the only one of its kind, and there is only one other similar example in the Ivanoff Museum in La Borne.
