Venus impudique or Venus de Vibraye. Resin replica of the famous figurine discovered in 1863 by the Marquis Paul de Vibraye at the prehistoric site of Laugerie-Basse in Les Eyzies-de-Tayac in the Dordogne. The original is on display at the Musée de l'Homme in Paris. Height 7.5 cm.
This figurine is the first Paleolithic human representation to have been discovered by archaeologists. The name Venus given to it by the Marquis de Vibraye was subsequently used to designate prehistoric female figurines discovered since then.
