First edition of six poems by Émile Verhaeren illustrated by Kwasson with fourteen double-page prints. Our copy was published under the following address: "T. Hasegawa / 10 Hiyoshicho / Tokyo", the address where the printer lived from 1890 to 1901. The colophon, written in Japanese, bears the date 1896 ("year 29 of the Meiji era"). Cover slightly faded.
