Red morocco, boards decorated in the Duseuil style, with crowned royal cipher at the corners, royal coat of arms gilt in the centre, spine decorated with gilt crowned royal cipher, inner gilt border, gilt edges (period binding).
Composite collection of a selection of 73 plates from the volumes of the King's Cabinet, published at the end of the 17th century or the beginning of the 18th century.

This is the only plate in the collection that does not concern Versailles.
A small tear but not missing.

Tear without missing on the bottom of several plates by Jean Lepautre. Red stain with damage to the frame, on the top of the plates of the Terms (Jupiter. Juno and following) and those of the vases.
A fine copy in contemporary morocco with the arms and cipher of the king.
Some dark marks on the boards, notably on the lower corner of the first board, holes and wormholes at the ends of the spine, cracking at the hinges, corners slightly dulled, some rubbing from use.
