DUOMU JUG in polychrome cloisonné enamel on copper, decorated with stylised taotie masks, phoenixes, sound gongs, Greek friezes and garlands of lotus flowers on a blue background, the spout spat out by a makara head, the handle held by two lion heads. A removable lid closes the mouth. (The enamel is missing, the makara and the top of the jug are damaged). Sino-Tibetan work, late 19th century. A GILT COPPER AND CLOISONNÉ EWER, SINO-TIBET, LATE 19TH CENTURY. HEIGHT 52.5 CM (20 11/16 IN.)
