A silver self-serving coffee pot, standing on a small baluster-shaped pedestal. The base and lid are decorated with twisted gadroons. The ebony handle is attached to the body by a moulded disc.
It bears a diamond-shaped hallmark with the letters H and V inside, as well as a rosebud and a star. This hallmark belongs to the master silversmiths Hénin and Vivier, who practised from 1891 to 1896. Guarantee mark: Minerva head.
