VERY RARE GREEK HIGH KARAT GOLD VOTIVE MASK WITH INSCRIPTIONS Ca. 700 - 500 BC. A very rare complete gold facial mask assemblage consisting of six individually cut and hammered gold sheets representing stylised anatomical features: a pair of almond-shaped eye coverings with central incised pupils, a long tapering nose plaque with a flared lower end, a pair of symmetrical ear plaques with incised inner contours, and an oval lip cover marked by a horizontal central crease.
