Fourth posthumous edition, the first Italian edition. It is in a reduced format with superb woodcut illustrations specially engraved for this new format by Joannes Criegher. This unauthorised edition was quickly sold out, and Francesco Senense's sons produced a new edition in the same format in order to re-use Criegher's woodcuts in 1604. See Cushing on this subject.
