Atypical jacket worn by Second Lieutenant Escoffier during the Algerian War. The jacket was made from a light khaki TTA 47 52 jacket, onto which a master tailor sewed a waterproof canvas, then camouflaged it with a brush. The camouflage is based on French camouflage, with green and brown being the main colours. The jacket fastens with 4 large press studs, but can also be fastened with a buttonhole that joins the buttons on the TTA jacket. 2 chest pockets close with 2 small press studs. Several small period repairs. Sublieutenant Escoffier served during the Algerian War in the company specialising in guerrilla and counter-guerrilla warfare of the 31st Battalion of Chasseurs à pied. Unique jacket. Four large press studs for closure additional buttonholes to use original buttons two chest pockets with small press studs. Several period repairs. Escoffier served with the 31st Infantry Battalion's guerrilla and counterguerrilla company. Oneofakind piece.
