Noble maiden, martyr of Alexandria in 305. The saint represented with the wheel of knives, attribute of her torment, and wearing a virgin's crown and a book for the wisdom with which she refuted the pagan philosophers. Represented stepping on the head of King Maxentius, whom she refused to marry when he asked her to renounce her faith, she is dressed in noble clothes and crowned, and according to the legend, she is of great beauty.
