on a saucer. Hemispherical body. Comedian figures from Italian comedy in the style of cotton wool scenes on both sides of the wall and in the mirror. Including a lady with mandolin and dog, Scaramuz or Pierrot (Pedrolino) not far from a plank bed lying on the floor and a tambourine or lute player with dog. Coloured blossoms in the mirror of the couplets. Fine polychrome painting. Surrounding gold lace border. Gold letter "S.". Partial turner's and moulder's mark for Johann Christoph Schumann (active since 1735). Partially unmarked; crossed swords mark. H. 4,5 cm. D. 13.5 cm.
