Called lang, this denomination is also called Van thê vinh lai from the obverse legend (All generations will reap the fruit forever). Equivalent to an ounce of silver, this denomination also exists in gold (cf. MDC 8 n° 1440) with, as Schroeder notes, the reverse legend which "was composed to be applied to a gold coin".
