Around the central perforation: Tu Duc thông bao, right; Van thê vinh lai, left; the moon and the sun under the clouds above; the 3 mountains with the trees of longevity in the middle of the sea below. Rv. In Chinese characters, a quatrain "The precious stone khuyet and cinnabar are transmuted in a thousand years into very pure gold that can be passed on to ten thousand generations. In this way merit is recognised and virtuous men are highlighted, for wisdom alone is precious". Pale gold, with two suspension holes. Slightly cleaned. Very rare. Almost Superb. Called Van thê vinh lai from the legend on the obverse (All generations will reap the fruit forever), this 5 tiên corresponds to half an ounce of gold.
