VIKING AGE IRON SPEARHEAD
Ca. AD 700 - 1100.
An iron spearhead with a narrow, elongated blade and two prominent barbs extending downward from the base of the tip. The socket is conical and expands gently towards the base, terminating in a rounded edge with a small rivet hole. Mounted on a modern stand.
