VIKING AGE IRON SPEARHEAD Ca. AD 700 - 1100. An iron spearhead with an elongated, leaf-shaped blade tapering gradually to a sharp point. The central ridge is slightly raised and extends down the length of the blade. The socketed shaft narrows smoothly and terminates in a flared base. Mounted on a modern stand.
