VIKING AGE SILVER BRACELET WITH HEART-SHAPED FINIALS. Ca. AD 900 - 1100. A silver bracelet with heart-shaped finials connected by a twisted, rope-like band. Each finial is adorned with scrollwork formed by finely twisted wire, interspersed with small silver spheres arranged in a symmetrical pattern. The outer edge of each heart is bordered by a continuous twisted wire, following the contours of the shape.
