VIKING SILVER BRACELET WITH STAMPED TRIANGLES
Ca. AD 900 - 1000.
A silver bracelet of penannular form with a broad, faceted outer surface. The decoration consists of a continuous band of opposed triangles, each enclosing a triad of punched dots, separated by slender hourglass motifs. The composition is framed above and below by rows of finely punched borders. The terminals are plain and slightly bevelled.
