VIKING SILVER NECKLACE WITH HAMMER-SHAPED PENDANT Ca. AD 900 - 1000. A silver necklace features very narrow links arranged in a wide choker that connects at the back with two tubular finials and a hook with a ring. The necklace is embellished with a pendant shaped Mjolnir, the hammer of the Norse god Thor. The pendant is further decorated with stamped triangles, each containing three raised dots inside.
