VIKING SILVER PENDANT HORSE SHAPED Ca. AD 800 - 1000. A silver pendant cast in the form of a stylised horse with a rounded body and arched neck. The upper face is decorated with punched triangles enclosing central pellets, outlining the mane, back, and underside. The eye is rendered with a raised circular detail. A suspension ring is attached through a pierced loop at the rear. The back is plain. For similar see: A.
