VILLANOVAN DECORATED TERRACOTTA KYATHOS Ca. 700 BC. A terracotta kyathos with a flaring bowl on a ring foot and a high arched strap handle. The lower body is encircled by a ridged band of protruding knobs, above which runs a frieze of incised chevrons. The interior is decorated with concentric circular recesses and radiating grooves, while the handle bears a series of parallel incised lines.
