In-8, cinnamon morocco, boards decorated with a large mosaic composition in colour, large inner frame decorated with gold fillets, corduroy lining and endpapers, double endpapers, gilt edges, cover and spine (G. Girrane - Marius Magnin). A fine copy impeccably bound by Marius Magnin of Lyon, with the boards of the binding decorated with 2 large mosaic compositions by Gustave Girrane, an early 20th century draughtsman from Lyon. A copy decorated with 90 illustrations in 2 colours by Robida, numbered on velin du marais, in which the original tracings used to decorate the boards are bound in fine. Dark stain on the second plate, small defects to the spines and to a headpiece.
