Hetzel et cie, no date [1878], large in-8 with 1 coloured frontispiece, (2) ff, 284 pp, illustrated plates; burgundy half-basin, smooth spine decorated (contemporary binding). First edition with a coloured frontispiece and plates and illustrations outside and inside the text. The author presents life around the construction of a cathedral and a town hall in an imaginary town "Clusiacum", which became "Clusy". Occasional heavy brown spotting, G.T. bookplate stamp to title and plate no. 19.
