VOGUE (La) Paris, 1889. Volume IV, n° 1, 2, 3. Comprising 3 paperback issues in turnstyle folder and slipcase. Second era of Vogue, with Gustave Kahn as editor-in-chief, assisted by Adolphe Retté. Copies on Hollande, supposed to contain engravings, only the 3rd has an etching by Meyer. Texts by Régnier, Vielé-Griffin, Stuart Merrill, etc. As the magazine sold poorly, a large part of the print run was destroyed. Attached is a flying frontispiece on Japon mince by Pissaro. Joint : VOGUE (La) New series. Paris, 1899; 4 vol. in-12, burgundy half-percaline, smooth spine decorated with gilt fillets. Pieces by Régnier, Coquiot, Gregh, Jammes, Klingsor, Merrill, Retté, Verhaeren, etc.
