Complete series of allegorical figures of the "Five Senses" by Meissen 5-piece; Young women in antique-style robes standing on rocaille-relief plinths, accompanied by putti or animals and with the addition of various attributes. The lute-playing personification of Hearing with sheet music and French horn, flanked by a recumbent stag and of Sight with telescope, mirror, spectacles and accompanying eagle. The personification of taste with apples and grapes, flanked by a monkey helping itself from a filled fruit bowl, and leaning against a column the standing personification of smell with a rose bush and blossoms as well as a potpourri vessel and the allegory of feeling with a parrot, a pair of putti and a dog.
