Traces of handling, restoration of one corner, otherwise in good condition. In June 1691, French artillery bombarded Liège. In July 1693, Huy was taken by French troops, raising the threat of a siege on Liège. [Histoire militaire de Flandre by Chevalier de Beaurain, Paris, 1755. pp. 89 & 90, pp. 281 & 283]. This plan and view of the town were drawn up between these two events.
