Warming bell with bowl as a base with swan service decoration
Hemispherical shape with gold-coloured mounting as a handle and matching, slightly hollowed bowl as a base. The wall with fine relief decoration of two swimming swans, a flying heron standing between tall reeds with a carp in its mouth. Coloured Indian flower branches above. Scattered on all sides with sculpted flowering branches, shells and snail shells. A gold rocaille cartouche on both sides with the alliance coat of arms of Heinrich Graf von Brühl and his wife Franziska von Kolowrat-Krakowsky and an Indian flower branch. Fine polychrome painting with combed gilt edge and staffage. Designed by Johann Friedrich Eberlein and Johann Joachim Kaendler, circa 1740, limited edition 25/25, year mark. Centreboard mark with gold signet. D. 33 cm and 39 cm.
