Adorned with a framed view of a caravan arriving at the summit of Mont Blanc, drawn by Charles Weibel and lithographed in colour by F. Baumann. Certificate no. 640 dated 1st August 1877 relating to Mr Joseph Gill's ascent of Edgbaston (Birmingham district) in the company of Mr Walter Showell on 31st July 1877. The guides who signed are : Comte Alfred, Cupelin Auguste, Simond Joseph des Moussoux and Ducroz Ambroise du Tour. The head guide signed S. Cachat. Wet stamp of the Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix.
