Original brochures with colour lithographed illustrated cover titles on various papers. 6 early, very rare exhibition catalogues of the Viennese secessionist artists' group Hagenbund. - The Hagenbund was founded in 1900, similar to the more radical "Secession", as a split-off from the conservative Künstlerhaus. In addition to the Art Nouveau artists Joseph Urban and Heinrich Lefler, members included C. Hauser, O. Laske and O. R. Schatz were also members. After Schiele and Kokoschka also took part in exhibitions in 1911/12 and caused a scandal, the Hagenbund's premises were cancelled. In this early phase of its existence, which was committed to a moderate expression of Viennese Art Nouveau, the Hagenbund published around 30 exhibition catalogues, six of which are presented here in this collection. - Even individual catalogues are very rare on the market. - Front cover of cat. 1904/05 with small loss at top right, covers slightly bumped and rubbed, cat. 8 with a few pencil marks, cat. 25 with minor foxing.
