WW1 1913 PATTERN REMINGTON BAYONET WITH MATCHING SCABBARD. Ca. AD 1917. A Pattern 1913 bayonet made by the U.S. firm Remington under contract to the British War Department in February 1917. Bayonets made by the Remington firm were appropriated by the American Army in the spring of 1917, making British First World War examples much rarer.
