(XIV°- XV°). MANUSCRIPT BREVIARY. Flanders (?), 14th/15th century. In-16, (136 x 98 mm) - (82x63 mm) of 134 leaves on vellum, vellum with small flaps (modern binding). 33 long lines for the calendar and 24 lines in two columns for the rest of the manuscript. This breviary appears to have been copied in Flanders between the late 14th and early 15th centuries. Beautiful watermarked initials with red and blue antennae punctuate the manuscript and the first lines of the columns sometimes bear grotesque initials in brown ink. - f. 1-6 : Calendar used in Rome: later additions of saints and the livre de raison in February: "Obiit pater meus [...]". - f. 7-134: Festive psalter with antiphons, capitulae, brief responsories, verses and collects from the ordinary of the office. Incomplete manuscript, the last leaf bears the advertisement "Deus qui beatum" which introduces the vespers oration of Saint Nicolas. First leaf browned and restored, characters rubbed and sometimes illegible in the calendar.
