Note: 'Lips' have been a recurring theme in the artist's work since the 1980s.
Often arranged in groups or 'towers', the variations, textures and repetitions of these lips, as found images, highlight how each tells its own story and reflects its inner life. Samore's work is strongly influenced by filmmakers such as Chris Marker, Andy Warhol and Alfred Hitchcock, as well as classical mythology and modern experimental fiction. These large photographs, about the size of our bodies, have a physical presence.
A certificate of authenticity from the artist will be given to the buyer.
