Print, oban yoko-e, from the series Sakura hachidai (櫻八題), Eight Views of Cherry Blossoms, plate Rōmon (樓門), Chion'in Temple Gate. Signed Yoshida and stamped Hiroshi, and signed Hiroshi Yoshida in pencil in the margin. Self-published, 1935 (Small holes in the corners).
Size: 26.7 x 39 cm
The impressive porch (rōmon) that marks the entrance to the temple in Kyoto is one of the widest in Japan.
