Paris, Buisson, 1794. 3 volumes in-8, mottled calf, two fine gilt roulettes framing, smooth ornate spine, red title-pieces, speckled edges (Binding of the period). Second edition of the French translation by François Soulès of this "very important work, because its author gives an extremely vivid picture of the economic state of France on the eve of the Revolution", writes Afred Fierro. It contains two large folded maps, one of the climate and navigation, the other of the soils of France. A very fine copy, finely bound in contemporary style. From the library of Villeneuve l'aîné, cloth manufacturer in Mirepoix in the 19th century, with bookplate.
