Women’s yukata, Japan, second half of the 20th century, made from cream-coloured printed silk, reserve-dyed in a vivid aubergine colour with a lively design featuring terraces adorned with chrysanthemums, peonies and decorative balls. Apricot-coloured taffeta lining (some slight signs of wear).
