Decorative plate with "Korean lion" decoration "Sulkowski" in relief. In the slightly recessed mirror, the so-called "Korean lion" not far from a flying heron, peony branches, grasses and ferns as well as a cockchafer. Flowering branches and butterflies on the banner. Polychrome painting in kakiemon style. Minimally rest/above; crossed swords mark. D. 23 cm. Provenance: Dissolution of an important German private collection - Part I. A Kakiemon style porcelain plate painted with decor "Korean lion". Minor restored/rubbed. Crossed swords mark. Meissen. Circa 1735 - 1740.
