Aesthetic characteristics
Acanthus leaf decoration, typical of classical silverware. The edge of the lid is finished with a delicate laurel wreath. The lid is surmounted by a figure depicting an eagle with spread wings, a symbol often associated with power and nobility. The bowl rests on three slender legs ending in goat's hoof feet.
