Jugulaire à coulisses en cuir fauve maintenue par 2 petits boutons laiton de l'artillerie. Bandeau de sudation havane, décousu de la coiffe, doublure surpiquée du calot. Sur le bandeau, inscription manuscrite H. Rollin 1st N.T.R.G.A. (v), possiblement 1st Northumerland Royal Garrison Artillery Volunteer qui correspond au Tynemouth Artillery Volunteers qui alimenta en homme la 44th Siege Battery R.G.A. à partir de 1916 et qui combattit dans la Somme, à Vimy et à Cambrai. Extérieur en bon état, intérieur porté, patiné. Named British Artillery Officer’s CapKhaki visor cap with short cloth-covered peak and green leather underside. Royal Field Artillery badge with fixed wheel. Tan leather slide chinstrap held by two small brass artillery buttons. Brown sweatband detached from lining, which is quilt-stitched. Inside the band is the handwritten name “H. Rollin 1st N.T.R.G.A. (V),” possibly for the 1st Northumberland Royal Garrison Artillery Volunteers, which supplied men to the 44th Siege Battery R.G.A. from 1916 and served at the Somme, Vimy, and Cambrai. Exterior in good condition, interior showing wear and patina.
